Antigua & Barbuda is a beautiful set of islands that I’ve visited often and explored a great deal. The tourist brochures talk about the 365 beaches of Antigua; but I think that in order to reach that count some of those beaches must be pretty small. Nonetheless the waters are pristine and picture-perfect. One downside having a British colony legacy is that the  food also tends toward British tastes. Fortunately, inroads are being made there as well.

The country hosts an annual Antigua Sailing Week and I’ve been a volunteer at this even for many years. This keeps me out of trouble since if I weren’t working I might be tempted to race. And that is a slippery slope; I’d soon be spending a fortune in racing gear and would still lose.

Check out my Antigua and Barbuda page for lots of details.
