I spent all of March 2024 in Sint Maarten. While it is a nice location and relatively inexpensive for Caribbean standards, it is also quite touristy and not a typical West Indies Island.

First came the Heineken Regatta, where I’m a volunteer aboard the committee boat “A”. It was, as always, a fun time and of course we had the best view in the house from the committee catamaran, seeing the boats start and finish several times per day.

After the races I had to fix up my battery bank and do other maintenance tasks. This also entailed ordering parts and services and that can take a long time arriving!
