Sunrise

I woke early with the sun and made my morning coffee to kick off the day. After reading the news and checking up on my e-mails, it was time to look at the sump system in the forward shower. After tracing the wiring and replacing the timed relay switch for a normal one (for testing purposes), I found that the pump itself, a Whale 320, was no longer working. True to form, the part is not available on the island. I think that the smaller 220 model might be sufficient, and that is in stock at the local chandlery. If the mounting holes are identical, I’ll risk getting that one instead.
Morning

After my second coffee, I took the dividing walls for the forward cabin out of storage and started the construction project. The pieces all assembled together, but the final puzzle piece in the top forward corner just wouldn’t fit in. I worked at it for a bit, then decided to let the slight rocking of the boat finish helping adjust the sections, and I’d give it another try in the evening.
Afternoon
I was out dinghy wrangling all afternoon again. Today marked the last day of the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta, which meant that all the boats paraded past the Officers’ Quarters at Nelson’s Dockyard. This kept us quite busy. But I did get a number of pictures from the dinghy and put them on the 2026 Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta Pictures page.
