Most of the day was spent at the computer, using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop on the pictures from the regatta. I alternated this work inside the cabin with some fridge defrosting, as the layer of ice and rime on the evaporator plate was very thick and was certainly causing my fridge compressor to run overtime and use more energy than necessary. Once the fridge was clean and re-stocked, I went ashore on Green Island and cleaned the dingy bottom using mother nature’s sandpaper and a kitchen scrubber. While I let it dry to ensure that the offending growth was well and truly removed I walked around the area and viewed the kite surfers doing their thing out in the protected waters of the bay.
Dinner was once again a thawed-out and marinated steak, this time a nice T-Bone purchased on St. Martin at Cost-U-Less; the meat quality was excellent and I also tried making the frozen corn-on-the-cob on the BBQ (it was tasty, but a bit soggy. I’ll have to do better next time).
