Day 2

Tim had to take his pictures from the Calvinair helicopter today, so after dropping him off at the distant dock, I attached his bridle to a long line and towed both dinghies out of the anchorage at Green Island.

Meredith and I set out for the outside reef and the north coast of the island towards our destination at the reef entrance to the North Sound. The winds were very light, and despite setting all of our sails, we only made relatively slow progress.

Luckily, we started an hour and a half before the racers and made it to Jumby Island before them.
Party Ashore
The venue was wonderful, and the party began at midafternoon and carried on until long after dark. The combination of sea and sun got to me, to say nothing of the free libations, so I retired rather early and left Meredith and Tim to their own devices – both had work to do and didn’t need me bothering them.
