Morning
The waves were significantly higher today, somewhere between “uncomfortable” and “pretty bad”. On the other committee boat, they had 2 people with vertigo and there were some pretty quiet people on ours as well.
The mooring pickup was a bit difficult, and the strong current had the catamaran lie sideways to the waves for a bit before the current stopped; luckily only about 10-15 minutes.
Starts
Today saw most of the boats with reefs in their sails and the sailors had to work hard on their boats during the course of the day’s races. Everyone, including us, went back to dock tired. There were a number of damages on our course, and the Committee “B” boat had a large charter boat get dismasted.
