Not So Early
I woke up at 07:00, which is rather late for me; but I’ve compensated by doing nothing much at all for a couple of hours. John is still asleep in the forward cabin despite it being just shy of 10:00.
I heard a noise outside at 07:30 and it was a young entrepreneur selling fresh croissants and baguettes from a dinghy. While the margins were high, I bought two pain au chocolat (one for John) and munched mine down with my coffee. That was excellent.
The rest of the day was spent resting and doing nothing, until the midafternoon when we went ashore and celebrated with the committee members until quiz night came along.
Quiz Night
Our team worked out really well, until the final round. That was the music round, where we barely recognized two of the artists and lost our first-place ranking. All the music (except the 2 ones we got) were less than 5 years old. There was a certain age bias there and we ended up in fifth place.
