Chillen am Strand
Hier am Strand von La Sagesse chille ich mich in den Februar hinein. Es gibt eine Wolkendecke und Saharastaub in der Luft, was dazu beiträgt, dass ich heute nicht in der Sonne verbrenne.
Die Wellen kommen nur wenige Meter von meinem Zimmer entfernt an Land, und der Klang ist sehr beruhigend. Der Deckenventilator reicht aus, um das Zimmer kühl zu halten, obwohl es einen großen Bodenventilator gibt, der bei Bedarf als Unterstützung dient.
Ich mache heute viel nichts und werde meine Inselerkundungen erst morgen beginnen.
Chilling at the beach
I’m chillin’ my way into February here at the La Sagesse beach. There’s some cloud cover and Sahara dust in the air, which helps prevent my burning in the sun today.
The waves are coming ashore only a few meters from my room and sound is very soothing. The overhead fan is sufficient to keep the room cool, although there is a big floor fan to provide backup if necessary.
I’m doing a lot of nothing at all today and won’t start my island explorations until tomorrow.
