Arnd

After a great night’s sleep at the Château Relaxeau I went upstairs to say hello to Mal and he had the coffee brewing already, knowing what a caffeine addict I was. We chatted for a long time but soon after the rental car arrived I departed for distant Nanny Cay and my reunion with ”Zanshin”.

The boat was tucked away in the far corner on the old tennis court and once I opened up the hatch to look inside I was more than a little dismayed to immediately see sign of mice or rats! I’d removed everything edible aboard, including all the spices and vacuum-sealed beans; so I can’t figure out what had led them aboard to stay for several days. They had chewed through a number of visible items, and I was immediately worried that they might have gnawed their way through important (and inaccessible) items such as electrical lines. I knew that I’d have to open up every single cubic foot inside the boat and explore. Ahh well, the joys of boat ownership.

My old hosting company, who will remain unnamed although their name starts with “go” and the end rhymes with “baddy”, changed their software with little notice and the original SV-ZANSHIN.COM site stopped working overnight.

Every.  Single.  Page.

So I’ve transitioned to another provider. These original pages have been migrated, but all the formatting and other features are gone and the will still contain numerous display issues and formatting anomalies.

The manual effort of conversion is too much and not worth the effort involved. Over 1000 blog diary pages like this one are going to remain in this condition. The pictures are full-scale, but won’t expand when clicked. But you can can copy them to view them in their original splendour.
