2016 Trip 2016-03-28

The winds are still up in the North Sound, but I weighed anchor anyway and motored across to Leverick Bay, where I anchored in 20 feet just outside of the mooring field. I didn’t realize how busy Mondays get until today, when the moorings filled up by 13:00 and numerous charter boats circled around looking for a possible opening; but nobody was leaving. I didn’t feel like doing maintenance work so I started working my way through a hardcover book that explains how to use my Nikon D7100 camera. After several chapter I went ashore for a bit of a walk and in order to get my land legs back and ended up taking the Saba Rock ferry to Saba Rock. There I met Paul, of Poet Warrior and we chatted away the happy hours (pun intended) until it was time to catch the ferry again to return to Leverick Bay. The restaurant and bar were crowded so I opted to make a light dinner aboard and watch an episode of “Columbo” on the computer. I wanted to do a bit of star watching but the night was too cloudy and windy.

My old hosting company, who will remain unnamed although their name starts with “go” and the end rhymes with “baddy”, changed their software with little notice and the original SV-ZANSHIN.COM site stopped working overnight.

Every.  Single.  Page.

So I’ve transitioned to another provider. These original pages have been migrated, but all the formatting and other features are gone and the will still contain numerous display issues and formatting anomalies.

The manual effort of conversion is too much and not worth the effort involved. Over 1000 blog diary pages like this one are going to remain in this condition. The pictures are full-scale, but won’t expand when clicked. But you can can copy them to view them in their original splendour.
