Arnd

2015 Trip 2015-04-18

It felt nice to fire up the generator in the morning hours to run the washing machine without having to worry about it overheating! After coffee and cleaning up a bit I spoke with Evan and his wife from S/Y Long Overdue, who I knew from an internet forum and they later returned with a baguette and croissants; so we talked some more over breakfast with espresso. We arranged to meet up later for a dive at Creole Rock. The dive site is quite shallow and I hadn’t been back since last year. The coral on the inside has suffered a bit – probably a combination of hurricane Gonzalo and many, many divers. Despite all that, there were still some nice sights to see underwater and after the dive we returned to Zanshin for a quick shower and subsequent baguette/cheese/beer hors d’oeuvres.

My old hosting company, who will remain unnamed although their name starts with “go” and the end rhymes with “baddy”, changed their software with little notice and the original SV-ZANSHIN.COM site stopped working overnight.

Every.  Single.  Page.

So I’ve transitioned to another provider. These original pages have been migrated, but all the formatting and other features are gone and the will still contain numerous display issues and formatting anomalies.

The manual effort of conversion is too much and not worth the effort involved. Over 1000 blog diary pages like this one are going to remain in this condition. The pictures are full-scale, but won’t expand when clicked. But you can can copy them to view them in their original splendour.
