2015 Trip 2015-02-21

Tonight was not a good night. Around 1AM the pizza that I’d eaten decided to come back for a visit, and again at 2AM. I slept fitfully and had a sharp pain in my side which doesn’t bode well. I saw them make the pizza fresh right there at the pub and only had 2 beers so I don’t know what triggered this hefty reaction and hope that it will become a dim uncomfortable memory by the end of the day.

I’m still listless in the mid-afternoon, having only had one coffee in the morning and some orange juice and otherwise just had water to drink and no solid foods. I think I’ll make some hot soup for dinner tonight to get my stomach kick-started again. I do feel a bit better so I’m finally going to put the cockpit LED lights so that I can read outside in the trade winds rather than have to stick below decks. But first I’ll see if I can plus just one level at that silly “Angry Birds” on my new Android tablet

I got the LED lights installed and rather than making a soup I made a baked potato and grilled up the remaining Chorizo sausage and my stomach seemed to be happy with that. The winds are picking up a bit, so rather than use my well-lit cockpit for reading I went below and watched an animated movie, “Turbo” before going to sleep.

My old hosting company, who will remain unnamed although their name starts with “go” and the end rhymes with “baddy”, changed their software with little notice and the original SV-ZANSHIN.COM site stopped working overnight.

Every.  Single.  Page.

So I’ve transitioned to another provider. These original pages have been migrated, but all the formatting and other features are gone and the will still contain numerous display issues and formatting anomalies.

The manual effort of conversion is too much and not worth the effort involved. Over 1000 blog diary pages like this one are going to remain in this condition. The pictures are full-scale, but won’t expand when clicked. But you can can copy them to view them in their original splendour.
