2014 Trip 2014-04-28

Day 2 promised to be another wonderful day out at the races. The waves were still up a bit and wind was a good 12-15 knots. Our team aboard the committee boat worked well, each doing their allotted tasks with a minimum of fuss and we even kept the extraneous chatter down (during moments of inactivity it is difficult not to talk). Our boats were, for the most part, very well behaved and both the starts and finishes went well. We returned in the mid-afternoon and the rest of the day, and evening, is a bit of a blur because I had my first Wadadli beer on the return trip from the finish line and kept at it for the remainder of the day.

My old hosting company, who will remain unnamed although their name starts with “go” and the end rhymes with “baddy”, changed their software with little notice and the original SV-ZANSHIN.COM site stopped working overnight.

Every.  Single.  Page.

So I’ve transitioned to another provider. These original pages have been migrated, but all the formatting and other features are gone and the will still contain numerous display issues and formatting anomalies.

The manual effort of conversion is too much and not worth the effort involved. Over 1000 blog diary pages like this one are going to remain in this condition. The pictures are full-scale, but won’t expand when clicked. But you can can copy them to view them in their original splendour.
