2013 Trip 2013-03-30

After a calm night at anchor, with just a bit of roll when the winds died in the evening, we awoke to a wonderful Caribbean day and had a big breakfast aboard while deciding what to do with the day. The winds had picked up considerably and we could see chop and whitecaps so we opted to stick with what we knew and stay put. Naturally a beach visit was on the agenda and I wanted to head up to the top of the hill to take a look at the big cross which I assumed (incorrectly) was a navigational mark. I haven’t been keeping up with my diary/blog regularly and somehow cannot recollect what else we did this day – it seemed to consist of breakfast followed by beach and my walk up the hill, tasty dinner and a couple of happy hour drinks and nothing in between. Perhaps that’s a good sign of a relaxing day if nothing else made it to long-term storage!

My old hosting company, who will remain unnamed although their name starts with “go” and the end rhymes with “baddy”, changed their software with little notice and the original SV-ZANSHIN.COM site stopped working overnight.

Every.  Single.  Page.

So I’ve transitioned to another provider. These original pages have been migrated, but all the formatting and other features are gone and the will still contain numerous display issues and formatting anomalies.

The manual effort of conversion is too much and not worth the effort involved. Over 1000 blog diary pages like this one are going to remain in this condition. The pictures are full-scale, but won’t expand when clicked. But you can can copy them to view them in their original splendour.
