I sailed over to Île Tintamarre today and joined Bernd and Carmen on Mau, they also had Sue from the boat Nomad aboard as a guest and were joined by a couple, Audrey and xxx aboard their boat Leila at the anchorage. Bernd, Carmen, Sue and I headed over to the tugboat wreck for a dive in the afternoon and after that strenuous exercise we had a great dinner aboard Mau consisting of spicy sausages and wonderful couscous that Carmen had concocted.
After dinner I returned to Zanshin and fired up the generator to charge the batteries and run the compressor to fill the 4 tanks we’d used that day, but the generator stopped and I didn’t notice it … the compressor merrily ate over 180 amp hours at 24V from the inverter and had significanly drained the batteries before I noted it. I saw that the error code was excessive temperature in the exhaust, most likely meaning that the impeller was once again in need of a change.

My old hosting company, who will remain unnamed although their name starts with “go” and the end rhymes with “baddy”, changed their software with little notice and the original SV-ZANSHIN.COM site stopped working overnight.
Every. Single. Page.
So I’ve transitioned to another provider. These original pages have been migrated, but all the formatting and other features are gone and the will still contain numerous display issues and formatting anomalies.
The manual effort of conversion is too much and not worth the effort involved. Over 1000 blog diary pages like this one are going to remain in this condition. The pictures are full-scale, but won’t expand when clicked. But you can can copy them to view them in their original splendour.
