Morning
The committee boats needed to be returned in the morning, which meant leaving the docks at the AYC at 09:30 and heading over to English Harbour to return Margaritaville to Sunsail.
Neil and Alec accompanied me on the trip around the corner and we got off the dock in first place of the 3 boats and kept our lead all the way into the harbour. The Sunsail crew came aboard and docked the boat in what looked like mere inches of water – I’m glad I wasn’t at the helm for that.
Afterwards we had a leisurely breakfast at the Pillars and returned to Falmouth. The day was hot with little wind, and everyone was happy to be in the air-conditioned offices at the AYC prior to the air-conditioned cab to the air-conditioned airport.
Noon
It got hotter as the day progressed. Mainly it was the high humidity and lack of wind that made it uncomfortable; every time a breeze came by it was nice again. John and I went back to Zanshin and puttered about until it was time to head ashore again for dinner.
Dinner
Since I’m writing this several days later, I cannot for the life of me remember where we ate.
