Today was a day for collecting energy for the upcoming 4 days of activity. The registration process opened today and the competitors collected their swag and bow numbers and prepared their boats. Many took the opportunity to practice in preparation for the races starting tomorrow.
I stayed aboard much of the day and worked, going ashore for the late bridge opening and eating at Little Jerusalem in Simpson Bay. Their shawarma was fantastic, but enough to feed 2 people my size.
