Back to the daily Grind
I’m back in the virtual office today. But with a view of the waves lapping on the pristine beach and wearing naught but a T-Shirt and shorts, the office environment is excellent. What is tempting is that at noon the bar opened, but partaking of those pleasures aren’t going to help me concentrate on remote work.
Return to Zanshin
The travel and hotel plans are proving difficult to arrange. I am now taking a Wednesday morning ferry from Grenada to Carriacou and am searching for a place to stay there. The Independence Day holiday is throwing a brightly-colored wrench into my plans. I might have found an Airbnb location, but it is quite out-of-the-way and I am fairly certain that I’ll be needing a rental car. And I don’t know if I’ll get one for the duration.
The yard is pretty much closed for the week. I need to get the bottom paint done prior to splashing, and also want to repair the bowthruster before it disappears under the waterline.
Afternoon and Evening
I spent much of the day working remotely and catching up on the collected e-mails and tasks. Once those jobs were finished I walked around the beach, took a swim once the sun was low on the horizon and then partook of happy hour and dinner.
