Pre-Dawn
I’d gotten sufficient sleep and woke very early; which let me get a good start to the day before the weather front came through. And before the rain starts coming in.
Morning
I’ve made good progress at work. During the breaks I finished checking the pictures from last night’s volunteer party and have forwarded them appropriately. Some of them were both in focus and not blurred despite my lack of flash.
Afternoon
I finished up work in the later afternoon and then pondered my dinner options. Rather than thaw something out or cooking; I chose to go ashore for a meal.
I opted for Bar B’s and chose the ribs, not knowing that I’d be getting a Flintstones sized portion. They made up for in volume what they lacked in taste and I made my way through about 3/4 of the meal before capitulating.
On the way back, I got a photo of Alfa Nero, which has been impounded by the Antigua & Barbuda government and is being put up for auction at US$80 million. It is guarded in rotation by the Military/Coastguard and private security.
The rain is no longer coming son so I returned to Zanshin dry. I opened the hatches to catch a bit of breeze and am debating which movie to watch or whether I want to finish watching Bullitt.
Evening
Bullitt it is. A classic movie with, arguably, the best car chase scenes ever made.
