While in Friar’s Bay I don’t have access to any internet signals that are usable at all, so I motored around the corner to Grand Case so that I could pick up my correspondence and to download the data sheets for all of the electronics components that I’ve gotten. The internet in Grand Case was quite spotty so it took hours for me to locate and download the documents, but by the early afternoon I’d completed the computer work and decided that I was going to eat aboard tonight and therefore didn’t need to stay in the busy anchorage. I motored back to Friar’s bay for the afternoon and night; with only one other boat in the anchorage it was a calmer place indeed.
I got one of my marinated steaks out of the freezer to thaw out and prepared a baked potato for a simple but tasty dinner, eating some frozen grapes for dessert and some pistachio nuts later as a post-prandial snack.
I now know what that new little symbol in the display area of my camera means – “No Memory Card Inserted”. I don’t think that any of the photos I took were particularly interesting in any case.
