Cowboy Boots

Although cowboy boots are not particularly popular in Europe, I’ve had pairs in the US before and found them very comfortable when made by craftsmen and broken in. All of my previous pairs were standard leather and geared towards work/comfort rather than style. I wanted at least one set of full-quill ostrich boots, known for being both extremely comfortable and durable. I couldn’t find any vendors in Europe, but I did find an online vendor in the USA that shipped overseas, so I took this opportunity to get these boots. I got them in 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, and they haven’t seen as much use as they usually would have.
Conclusions
These are very well-made boots and have become very comfortable as well, after a short break-in period. The leather sole breathes well and performs well in dry conditions, but the boot is somewhat slippery in wet environments and in winter.
