The Elmtones play at the Elm in Cane Garden Bay on Fridays and Sundays and since the north swell had finally subsided I hopped across to Cane Garden Bay and anchored quite close in to the beach. The winds were calm and I used the paddleboard to get some exercise and then met Candace, Malcolm, Island Jim and others at their reserved table right by the band for a great gig. The full band, all 6 of them, were present tonight and their playlist was an excellent one. Although the crowd asked them to do “Free Bird” so loudly and persistently that they actually did a Reggae rendition of it (and mercifully cut the song short…).
