After the surge that night I wanted to leave the docks, but I wasn’t quite sure how to get off single handed without causing damage. In the end I waited for the bulk of my fellow Jeanneau owners to depart in order to return their charter boats on time and then found that getting off the dock was easy after all, as the wind had shifted a bit and blew me off the docks. I set sail and went back to Diamond Cay, the return trip taking far less time than going upwind to Peter Island. I went ashore and walked around a bit and otherwise just relaxed a bit as I’d not gotten as good a night’s sleep as I am accustomed to. I used the paddle board again and worked on some minor boat tasks today and made a juicy steak for dinner.
