2016 Trip 2016-03-09

My camera had a rest today while I went ashore to see about getting a new and more powerful outboard for the dinghy. I looked at the Yamaha Enduro 15HP and the Tohatsu 18HP engines and at present I am leaning towards the Yamaha model although the Tohatsu engines have served me very well in the past. The extra weight of the bigger engine is significant and I might have to design a boom system to lift and lower the outboard onto the and have that fabricated by Havin’s locally. I also continued my search for a slow-cooker at PDG supply, but their equipment is limited to commercial monsters which are not only too big for me but also carry a price tag which is beyond my $25 slow cooker budget.

My old hosting company, who will remain unnamed although their name starts with “go” and the end rhymes with “baddy”, changed their software with little notice and the original SV-ZANSHIN.COM site stopped working overnight.

Every.  Single.  Page.

So I’ve transitioned to another provider. These original pages have been migrated, but all the formatting and other features are gone and the will still contain numerous display issues and formatting anomalies.

The manual effort of conversion is too much and not worth the effort involved. Over 1000 blog diary pages like this one are going to remain in this condition. The pictures are full-scale, but won’t expand when clicked. But you can can copy them to view them in their original splendour.
