I picked up my little 400 HP runabout in the morning and can’t wait to open up the throttles, something I couldn’t do while getting the powerboat from the Marigot marina to the SMYC. We got our flags sorted out and our job was to be the finish boat for some of the classes. We were quite busy, so I didn’t get to take as many pictures as in previous years; plus the small boat made for a relatively unstable platform. Nonetheless we had fun getting the boats sorted out on finishing and it was a good and easy start to the Heineken Regatta as we didn’t have to do any of the starts.

My old hosting company, who will remain unnamed although their name starts with “go” and the end rhymes with “baddy”, changed their software with little notice and the original SV-ZANSHIN.COM site stopped working overnight.

So I’ve transitioned to another provider. These original pages have been migrated, but all the formatting and other features are gone and the will still contain numerous display issues and formatting anomalies. 

The manual effort of conversion is too much and not worth the effort involved. Over 1000 blog diary pages like this one are going to remain in this condition. The pictures are full-scale, but won’t expand when clicked. But you can can copy them to view them in their original splendour.
