While a large proportion of the fleet went on the “Round the Island Race”, our crew spent some time preparing the committee boat for the upcoming races, attaching our flag holders, prepping the boards and other items, raising standards (and removing other ones). This was a hot a sticky task today, as the winds in the anchorage had died down and it was very hot outside (even hotter inside, since the A/C didn’t want to work). But we did finish in good time and then attended the day’s prize giving and party at Nelson’s Dockyard. Soon after the music started I was overwhelmed by waves of exhaustion and returned back to Zanshin for the night.
