Today was a short work day again, as nobody had found any work for me to do. I have to leave the BVI by the 7th of June, as that was the exit date marked on the entry permit in my passport, so I decided to clear out today, as they give you 24 hours after clearing out to actually leave the country. Clearing out was very quick, or would have been if I’d had exact change for the $5 fee since they couldn’t break a $20 bill. Luckily Vinnie was serving breakfast at his bar and he had some change for me.
I had planned on going ashore again for dinner – joining the throngs of weekend visitors over from the USVI. But in the end I stayed aboard Zanshin for a BBQ burger dinner and some red wine.

My old hosting company, who will remain unnamed although their name starts with “go” and the end rhymes with “baddy”, changed their software with little notice and the original SV-ZANSHIN.COM site stopped working overnight.

So I’ve transitioned to another provider. These original pages have been migrated, but all the formatting and other features are gone and the will still contain numerous display issues and formatting anomalies.
The manual effort of conversion is too much and not worth the effort involved. Over 1000 blog diary pages like this one are going to remain in this condition. The pictures are full-scale, but won’t expand when clicked. But you can can copy them to view them in their original splendour.
