Despite having stayed up later (and had more to drink) than usual, I woke up early today and it took me a while to realize that it wasn’t a workday after all. By that time I’d already made a cup of coffee, so going back to sleep was no longer an option. So I fired up the computer and processed my pictures from the previous week and caught up with the blog entries as well. There’s a possible job for me to do in one week’s time, so I checked up on housing in the area and on flights from the BVI to get there (wow – they are expensive at the moment!). I decided to sail to Great Harbour for the evening and see what sort of delights could be found at Corsair’s that night. I got a daytime visit from my friends of the night before, who came bearing a bottle of wine which we quickly consumed and then we went on to my special Guadeloupe rum and some single malts before we repaired to our boats, showered and met up again for dinner ashore. Although Vinnie wasn’t feeling great that night, the food was very tasty indeed and afterwards I had a some drinks at the bar with Jan and Richard from Morpheus.
