The local radio station, Island 91.9, is the official radio station for the Heineken Regatta and the 3 or 4 regular DJs had spent a lot of time both on land and on water following and reporting on the event. Today the whole day was pre-taped and they occasionally had a blurb referring to “Recovery Monday” and explaining that they would return to regular programming on Tuesday. I felt the same way and didn’t get anything at all done today, I just hung around the boat, did a quick hop to Island Waterworld and to visit Ernst, the sailmaker, regarding making a cover for the cockpit table. I visited Katzenellenbogen and ended up staying there too long but did make it back the 100 feet to my boat in the dark and was soon asleep. Even the camera took a much needed rest today!

2014 Trip 2014-03-10
My old hosting company, who will remain unnamed although their name starts with “go” and the end rhymes with “baddy”, changed their software with little notice and the original SV-ZANSHIN.COM site stopped working overnight.
Every. Single. Page.
So I’ve transitioned to another provider. These original pages have been migrated, but all the formatting and other features are gone and the will still contain numerous display issues and formatting anomalies.
The manual effort of conversion is too much and not worth the effort involved. Over 1000 blog diary pages like this one are going to remain in this condition. The pictures are full-scale, but won’t expand when clicked. But you can can copy them to view them in their original splendour.
