I have atrophied office-muscles and soft office-hands, at least I think I do underneath the blisters and from the sharp throbbing pain in just about every muscle. To round off the sensations, my skin now has a nice pink tone as well despite staying in the shade and using SPF30; the slight burn is just from walking up and down the docks.
Zanshin is now back in the water and I had the help of two yard workers to help me dock the boat as I wasn’t feeling up to the task of doing it alone in the rather strong breeze coming through the marina. With 3 people aboard docking was a very simple task but I’m glad I had help.
While I’ve got a dock space I don’t have shore power, I bought the connectors and a cable but hadn’t made them up yet, and the cable is buried underneath the dinghy garage which still has the dinghy and outboard inside; that task will have to wait until the sun is hidden. I’ve got the hotel room for the night so shore power can wait until tomorrow.
I went to the shore bar at Peg Leg’s restaurant for some drinks and dinner but was rather groggy from the efforts during the day and had a very early evening.
