After Wolfgang made breakfast, we departed for a sail to the Île Tintamarre to the northeast and as it was a light wind day we had full sails out and had to work rather hard to tack upwind to get there, going almost to Anguilla on the northerly tack and misjudging the angle so that we had to put in an extra set of tacks before arriving at our destination. I was lucky in that I managed to set up the boat and pick up a mooring ball solo on my first attempt on this new boat, but I think that luck was involved. Tintamarre was busy, but there were still moorings and space available and we had a tasty lunch and took snapshot after swimming around for a bit. The weather didn’t look just right for sailing onwards to Île Fourchue so we returned to Grand Case for the night – the winds were fickle this day and we ended up motoring the last mile due to insufficient breeze from behind.
