Today was departure day for Rob and Nat; we’d made quite good time on crossing from the BVI to St. Martin and arrived just after 8am, anchoring next to Bernd and Carmen outside of Marigot for a bit while Nat and Rob finished packing their things and did some cleaning up of the cabin. Instead of a long and wet dinghy ride to the airport they opted for a short and comfortable cab ride and I waved them off – glad that I didn’t have a set of long flights in overfilled aircraft and uncomfortable seats ahead of me. I returned to the boat and proceed with some of the standard boating tasks – laundry, a bit of cleaning in preparation for Wolfgang, making water and resting up after the overnight passage.
