Only one more day to go and then we will arrive in St. Martin. In the last hours of darkness I thought I was imagining the occasional snorting sounds behind the boat, but when the sun came up I noticed that a solitary very large dolphin was swimming just below the surface at the stern of the boat, but when I got the camera out of the cabin he’d drifted off and I woke Bernd and Carmen up in the process – they dutifully stared off the side of the boat but no dolphins or other creatures came close again.
Dinner was a zestful vegetarian ragout with couscous, but one can see from the pictures that the boat was heeled over quite a bit which made both preparation and eating a bit difficult, but luckily hunger overcomes trivial problems such as that.

Winter 2011-2012 Trip 2011-12-15
My old hosting company, who will remain unnamed although their name starts with “go” and the end rhymes with “baddy”, changed their software with little notice and the original SV-ZANSHIN.COM site stopped working overnight.
Every. Single. Page.
So I’ve transitioned to another provider. These original pages have been migrated, but all the formatting and other features are gone and the will still contain numerous display issues and formatting anomalies.
The manual effort of conversion is too much and not worth the effort involved. Over 1000 blog diary pages like this one are going to remain in this condition. The pictures are full-scale, but won’t expand when clicked. But you can can copy them to view them in their original splendour.
