Morning
I slept in until 07:00, and then things started getting busy at work. I hadn’t planned on spending the whole ASW Lay Day in my virtual office, but I did. It is currently 17:30 and I haven’t left the boat. Zed took the dinghy and spent the day ashore. He’s in the shower now, and we are ready for quiz night at Club Sushi.
Quiz Night
We’ve had victory in our clutches before, only to have it snapped away during the music part of the quiz. They had predominantly modern songs, and we old folks didn’t recognize many of the songs, and most of the artists and song names were gibberish to me.
But we’ve got Jayden from the Finish Boat on our team this time around. He’ll help us out with new stuff… We’ve got old Rock & Roll plus Blues covered.
This time we managed to get 3rd place. We had a couple of questions that we should have known the correct answers. The “Color” round was quite difficult, but not only for us. And the music round was another difficult one, despite our “ringer”. Nonetheless, we had fun and enjoyed a good meal. We appreciated our downtime on ASW Lay Day and will hopefully be re-energized tomorrow.
