Night sailing
I was way offshore, having not managed to make much, if any, easting. The conditions really weren’t optimal for this trip south, but I was on a schedule so that I could make my flight from St. Lucia to the USA so that I could participate in the 2024 Newport-Bermuda Race.
It was another day of winds, waves and squalls and I only managed to get into the lee of Martinique by motoring upwind.
I arrived in Rodney Bay late at night in heavy choppy waves and was quite relieved when I managed to drop anchor.
