Work
I got a lot of work done today in the virtual office, so I’ve been looking forward to a weekend with very little computer-time and a lot of passage preparation time. I will login once to make sure that the changes I’ve made to the production system haven’t caused issues or job aborts.
Afternoon & going ashore
I did a quick fuel run and picked up my laundry but otherwise remained on board until the 5 o’clock bridge opening heralded in happy hour ashore. I met with the usual suspects, although the crowd has noticeably thinned out post-season.
Fridays are usually dog-night at the Soggy, with the cruisers bringing in their four-legged crewmembers. But with only 3 dogs in sight, it was probably disappointing for the pets.
