I’d run out of good Antiguan coffee the day before, so had to make do with the tasteless cheap stuff I could get in Sint Maarten. But caffeine still works, regardless of source. I did need two batches to really get going, though.
Afternoon
Both John and I were happy when my workday was over, and we could head ashore in the cooler hours of the late afternoon. Despite the tourist season being over and most of the boats having long since departed, those cruisers who remain gather on Friday and the dinghy dock still gets busy. Of course, that changes at exactly 19:00, when the beer prices go from $1 to $3!
