Morning
Today is a holiday in Europe, but I worked during the morning in the remote office anyway – knowing that I could do so uninterrupted by any distractions from others.
Sail to Green Island
The trip up to Green Island was done with two long tacks while motorsailing upwind, and the narrow and shallow waters in the channel leading up to Green Island were now easy for me to navigate as I could use my previously travelled route on the chartplotter.
Afternoon and evening
The afternoon was quiet in the secluded anchorage off Green Island. The beach had changed a bit, as a new restaurant had opened ashore, and they’d installed a dinghy dock as well as a roped-off swim area at the beach.
The weather forecasts had promised some rain. Unfortunately, the predictions were quite true and just as I’d prepared the food and fired up the BBQ the rains hit. With a vengeance – dumping large amounts of water onto Zanshin.
