Morning
I was up at the computer with coffee in hand at 06:00 and worked throughout the whole period before noon. It was almost windstill and quite warm, but I managed to get through my conference calls and other sessions with little difficulty. I did drink a lot of the club soda that was left over from the regatta, though.
Afternoon
I took a steak and some Chorizo sausage out of the freezer and sealed them in separate bags for sous-vide cooking. They bubbled away at 58° C for several hours until we were ready for dinner.
Dinner
I heated up a side dish of beans and another of beans to go along with the BBQ steak and sausages and the meal turned out to be excellent – as good as what we could have found locally ashore and there were no worries about waiting, paying and tipping.
