Sunrise
It looks like it is going to be another wonderful sunny day in the Caribbean today. While I’d like to head to the beach, I have a day’s worth of remote work to take care prior to getting to enjoy the location.

The winds are picking up a bit today and increasing over the next 3 days, so I’m going to have to get my solar panels attached and secured instead of letting them lie loosely on deck.
After lunch
I prepared to attach the two new panels on deck, preparing the surface and taping everything up in preparation for the 4200 sealant. Then I noticed that I didn’t have a plastic nozzle, so I had to postpone that plan until such time as I’d procured the tip.
I got the garbage and 2 old solar panels into the dinghy so that I could dispose of them appropriately. Only later did I notice that while doing so I had pushed one of my sandals into the water at the same time. So now I have exactly 3 shoes on board. The full pair are my Iron Rangers, somewhat overkill for the tropical Caribbean conditions. I don’t think that there are any appropriate stores here in Cole Bay and Simpson Bay, so I’ll have to take a bus into Philipsburg this weekend, perhaps combining it with the trip to the airport to pick up my shipped items.
Later

Ashore at happy the bar was hopping, and the picture show the dinghy dock area when everyone was just double-parked; later it went to triple parking, but I neglected to record that. I was there barefoot due to my foot situation. I’ve got some good calluses, but not enough to stop a shard of glass penetrating on my way back to the dinghy. Tomorrow I’ll look silly wearing a T-shirt, shorts and the Iron Rangers with socks.
