Up at dawn
I was awake shortly before 06:00 and the weather is overcast and the winds have died down overnight. I should use the cloud cover to take care of outside tasks without having to put on sun block. At the moment I’m enjoying my first coffee of the day and reading the online news.
Cleaning up inside Zanshin
I did a quick pass through the master cabin and main cabin with some Pine-Sol and water to get rid of the dust and other stuff that has accumulated during storage. That, plus some work on the computer, took up the whole morning. I’ll test the generator next and find a saltwater leak in the head (yuck!) next. Then happy hour will hopefully be arriving.
Picture
The picture I’d re-attached to the bulkhead fell off yesterday and again overnight. The area for the adhesive to adhere is small on the frame, so I added some more strips and trust that it will hold this time around.
Leaking deck
There is a leak on the port side cabin top that I couldn’t locate last time. I purchased a USB/WiFi borescope and I couldn’t see the tracks, but I will have to wait until it rains in order to track the source of the leak.
Finishing up the day
After cleaning up inside Zanshin some more and figuring out how to use the Bluetooth on the PC to beam to the radio, I called it a day and took a shower ashore then sat down at the Boardwalk bar for some libations as the sun set on the horizon.
