Snow in April
There were two days last week when I had to remove my sweater and walk around in a polo shirt. Those are now distant memories, as temperatures have plummeted and we’ve had two consecutive days of snow. This image is from my work desk, looking at the garden.
Travel to the Caribbean
I leave for St. Lucia in a couple of days. I came close to having to cancel, though. Starting a week ago, I had pain in my right shoulder and arm that got worse. When I got to the point where I couldn’t lift my mouse, I went to the doctor, and the initial diagnosis was that I’d need surgery to reattach the muscle. But the inflammation was quite harmful, so I got some injections and will be able to travel. The pain hasn’t subsided yet, but I remain optimistic.
