Snow in April
There were two days last week when I had to remove my sweater and walk around in a polo shirt. Those are now distant memories, as temperatures have plummeted and we’ve had two consecutive days of snow. This image is from my work desk, looking at the garden. I am ready to head south!
Travel to the Caribbean
I leave for St. Lucia in a couple of days. I came close to having to cancel, though. Starting a week ago, I had pain in my right shoulder and arm that got worse. When I got to the point where I couldn’t lift my mouse, I went to the doctor, and the initial diagnosis was that I’d need surgery to reattach the muscle. But the inflammation was quite harmful, so I got some injections and will be able to travel. The pain hasn’t subsided yet, but I remain optimistic.
