2016 Trip 2016-03-11

I went over to the Simpson Bay Marina in the morning to say hello to Paul Fenn and take a look at “Serenity”, the new Jeanneau 64. I’d seen the boat at the Southampton and Düsseldorf boat shows but this was the first time I’d been aboard a live boat in the water and difference between my 57 might only be 7 feet of waterline but in actuality the 64 is monster of a boat and much, much bigger in all dimensions.

“Serenity” left on the last morning bridge. Although I was pretty much ready as well I wanted to wait one more day for the winds to settle down a bit.

I completed my preparations and warned Mark that he might have to move a bit in order to let me weigh my anchor the next morning.

My old hosting company, who will remain unnamed although their name starts with “go” and the end rhymes with “baddy”, changed their software with little notice and the original SV-ZANSHIN.COM site stopped working overnight.

Every.  Single.  Page.

So I’ve transitioned to another provider. These original pages have been migrated, but all the formatting and other features are gone and the will still contain numerous display issues and formatting anomalies.

The manual effort of conversion is too much and not worth the effort involved. Over 1000 blog diary pages like this one are going to remain in this condition. The pictures are full-scale, but won’t expand when clicked. But you can can copy them to view them in their original splendour.
