I’m catching up on my blogs after the events of sailing week, so the daily blog pages are a bit sketchy while the picture pages from the event are quite full. Our boat left the dock (without hitting another boat, I might add) at shortly after 08:00 in the morning and headed out to our mooring at Rendezvous Bay. We soon had the lines set up and before we knew it we found ourselves in the starting sequence. Each of us had our allocated tasks and with only one postponement due to a mix-up in timing we sent the racers on their way on the single race of the day.
After a successful docking maneuver we opened up our first drinks of the day and from there on the rest of the afternoon, including the prize giving and my trip back to the boat, is something of a blur.
