Today was a bit more of regatta recovery mode, with a couple of on-board tasks completed but generally just soaking up the Caribbean warmth and relaxing in the unseasonably calm and still airs in the anchorage. I did get my pictures of the Heineken Regatta uploaded to this web site so that the others on board might have a chance at downloading them, but that took a very long time with the slow internet at both the Simpson Bay Yacht Club and at Lagoonies – I guess everyone was busy doing their mails with pictures after the event. I was aboard Katzenellenbogen again, I’d finally gotten an opportunity to open the bottle of bubbly that had been taking up room in my fridge for weeks and it tasted just perfect. I’d purchased a small steak which I grilled on the barbie and wolfed it down with a baked potato for dinner aboard and then, sated and showered, went to sleep.

2014 Trip 2014-03-11
My old hosting company, who will remain unnamed although their name starts with “go” and the end rhymes with “baddy”, changed their software with little notice and the original SV-ZANSHIN.COM site stopped working overnight.
Every. Single. Page.
So I’ve transitioned to another provider. These original pages have been migrated, but all the formatting and other features are gone and the will still contain numerous display issues and formatting anomalies.
The manual effort of conversion is too much and not worth the effort involved. Over 1000 blog diary pages like this one are going to remain in this condition. The pictures are full-scale, but won’t expand when clicked. But you can can copy them to view them in their original splendour.
